The JV33-160, which succeeds the JV3-160 (a product that hasreceivedgreat reviews since its launch in 2002), creates high qualityprints at540dpi x 1,080dpi with a print speed of 128sq.ft./h(11.9m2/h), whilemaintaining an affordable price.

The JV33-160has the same print head as the JV5 series which has 8lines of 180nozzles (total 1,440 nozzles). These print heads canincrease printspeeds by 30% over the JV3 series. Printing signage forup-close viewingcan be created at 540 x 1,080dpi with a print speed of128sq.ft./h(11.9m2/h ). Having only one head helps prevent againstalignment errorswhen setting the heads. A symmetric ink arrangement(MCYKKYCM) andnewly developed 16 bit rendering function of thestandard RIP, allowsfor enhanced print quality. In addition topre-print heaters, a postheater has been added to increase drying timeof ink on media, allowingfor faster uptake of the printed media. TheJV33 series is also equippedwith an UISS (uninterrupted ink supplysystem) for use during the4-print mode. This feature allows theprinter to produce large prints(long runs) without worrying aboutrunning out of ink. There are 4 typesink available for the JV33series: SS21 ink (including white ink), ES3ink (solvent ink), aqueouspigment ink, and dye sublimation ink.
